Transplanting: transplanting a seedling

Transplanting involves transplanting a young plant from a seedling.

It is then advisable to pull out and then replant the young plant in its final place or change it so that it develops in good conditions before planting.

The sown plants may have one or more transplanting.

What is the advantage of transplanting?

The fact of changing the young shoots of place to put them in a new support of culture (in general of the potting soil) will allow them to continue their growth under the best conditions.

When to transplant?

The first transplanting usually takes place as soon as the first leaves appear and are truly formed.

The transplanting site has been worked on beforehand: the clods of earth have been broken and crumbled.

It is advisable to use a seed and cuttings compost and to water well when planting.
